Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

Next Generation Athletics is operated by Gen94 Basketball Society ("NGA," "we," "us," or "our"). Payments you make to NGA are processed by Gen94 Basketball Society, and that name will appear on your card statement and receipts. By accessing or using the services provided by NGA, including our website, training programs, camps, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

NGA provides basketball training programs, coaching services, camps, leagues, and related athletic development services for youth athletes in Surrey, BC and the greater Metro Vancouver area. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Monthly membership programs (Rising Stars, ages 6-9; Youth Elite, grades 4-5; Elementary, grades 6-7; High School Boys and High School Girls, grades 8-11)
  • Before-school training (Breakfast Club)
  • Performance training
  • Private 1-on-1 coaching
  • Club team participation (GEN94)
  • Leadership development (ARISE)
  • Summer camps and seasonal programs

3. Registration and Eligibility

To participate in NGA programs, athletes must complete the registration process and meet any age or skill requirements for the specific program. Parents or legal guardians must register on behalf of minor athletes (under 18 years of age).

By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. You agree to update your information promptly if any changes occur.

Camp registrations collect the athlete's medical and emergency-contact information and your acceptance of our Liability Waiver online. Monthly memberships are purchased through Square without those steps: a signed liability waiver and a medical / emergency-contact form are completed at the athlete's first session.

4. Membership Terms

Monthly Memberships

Monthly memberships (including all grade-based training plans and the Breakfast Club) are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Membership fees are charged at the beginning of each billing cycle.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time before your next billing date. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
  • How to cancel or change plans: email info@nextgenerationathletics.ca or use the Manage Subscription link in your Square receipt email, before your renewal date. To upgrade or downgrade, cancel your current subscription and subscribe to the new plan; the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
  • Holds: Membership holds may be available for extended absences (injury, travel, etc.). Contact us to discuss hold options.

Seasonal Programs

Seasonal programs (camps, club teams, leadership programs) follow their published term dates and payment schedules. Refunds for camps and seasonal programs follow the schedule in Section 6 below.

5. Payment Terms

All fees are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes (GST) may be added at checkout where they apply; the checkout page shows the final amount before you pay. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and e-Transfer payments. By providing payment information, you authorize NGA to charge the applicable fees for your selected services. Card payments are processed by Gen94 Basketball Society (operating as Next Generation Athletics), which is the name that will appear on your statement.

Late Payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and re-process the payment. Continued non-payment may result in suspension or termination of services.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Monthly Memberships

Monthly memberships may be cancelled at any time with no penalty. Cancellations must be submitted before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month. No refunds are issued for partial months. To cancel or change plans, email info@nextgenerationathletics.ca or use the Manage Subscription link in your Square receipt email before your renewal date.

Seasonal Programs and Camps

  • More than 14 days before start: Full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.
  • 7-14 days before start: 50% refund.
  • Less than 7 days before start: No refund, but credit may be applied toward a future program at NGA's discretion.
  • Multi-week camp bookings: each week is treated separately, and "start" means the first day of the week being cancelled. If a cancellation drops your booking below the number of weeks needed for a multi-week discount, the refund is calculated at the price of the weeks you keep without that discount.

Refund requests must be sent to info@nextgenerationathletics.ca. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

Private Sessions

Cancellations for private 1-on-1 sessions must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.

7. Code of Conduct

All athletes, parents, and guardians are expected to conduct themselves with respect and sportsmanship. NGA reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with our values, without refund.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Verbal or physical abuse toward coaches, staff, or other participants
  • Unsafe behavior during training activities
  • Damage to facilities or equipment
  • Violation of facility rules or coach instructions

8. Health and Safety

Participants must be in good physical health to participate in NGA programs. You agree to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations that may affect participation — on the camp registration form, or on the medical / emergency-contact form completed at a monthly member's first session — and to tell us if anything changes. NGA is not responsible for injuries resulting from undisclosed medical conditions.

By participating in NGA programs, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with athletic activities. Please review our Liability Waiver for complete details.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the NGA website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Next Generation Athletics and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

10. Privacy

We collect and use personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Information collected during registration is used to provide our services, communicate with you about programs, and improve our offerings. We do not sell personal information to third parties. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how to request access or deletion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NGA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. Modifications to Terms

NGA reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of British Columbia.
